December’s Art Bar takes us to a playful honu’s romp in the ocean. Molokai Arts Center’s Studio Manager, April Maddela will be our instructor on Tuesday, December 3, from 4:30-7pm, at Hiro’s ‘Ohana Grill.

April was born and raised here on Molokai. Her passion for art, drawing, and painting allows her to express herself in many creative art forms as an artist, teacher, and student. In 2016, she received a Liberal Arts degree at UHMC-Molokai. While in school, she worked at the MAC as an intern and transitioned into her current position.

We believe that the artistic spirit is inherent in everyone, from the professional to the novice, that everyone in the community should have the opportunities to develop their creative gift to the extent possible. Come create an acrylic painting with us.

All materials are provided compliments of the Molokai Arts Center and each participant will get to take their piece of art home with them. Be sure to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting paint on, and feel free to bring your own apron (although MAC will have some on hand that can be borrowed).
