SATURDAY March 6th, 2021
4-8pm
Lanikeha Community Center
2200 Farrington Ave.

Yes, the Molokai Arts Center IS having its 11th Annual Soup ‘R Bowl, but the event has been REIMAGINED! It will be held on Saturday, March 6, at the Lanikeha Community Center in Hoolehua (2200 Farrington Ave). Tickets will only be sold online this year and you do not need a Paypal account in order to buy tickets (there is a credit card option). Since this is a fundraiser, there will not be a member discount offered.
Last year, COVID regulations were thrust upon us right after the Soup ‘R Bowl. This year, instead of imagining a year without Soup ‘R Bowl, the MAC created a COVID-compliant walk-through, take-out experience. If you’ve been collecting ceramic soup bowls every year you don’t have to miss one. This year’s soup choices are Portuguese Bean Soup, Lobster Bisque, and Thai Coconut Lentil Soup. The food is being prepared and served by Coffee and Friends located in Kualapuu Business Center.
To ensure socially distant participants, tickets will be sold for entrance by the hour. With a $40 gold ticket (entry from 4-5pm), you get to meet the artists who handcrafted the bowls and have the first choice selection of a bowl and a soup meal. $35 silver tickets (entry from 5-6pm) get the next selection of bowls and a soup meal. $30 bronze tickets (entry from 6-7pm) get to choose from what’s left of the ceramic bowls and soups. Online ticket sales end Friday, March 5.
IF there are any ceramic bowls and soups left, walk-ins will be welcome between 7-8pm for $20. Announcement will be made at the event at that time and on Facebook.
Participants will need to arrive within their designated hour and stand in line 6 ft apart through the entire experience. At the entrance, participants will receive a ticket for a ceramic bowl and a soup choice. We will do temperature checks and masks will be required. Hand sanitizers will be placed at each table, from entrance to exit.
Email us or message Molokai Arts Center Facebook page if you have any questions. You may also call and eave a message at the MAC (808) 567-9696.

*note: on line ticket sales will end on March 5th.
